Green flow

a water-saving system

The bathrooms of the future protect the drinking water of the future

At Green Box, we want to contribute to more sustainable construction with solutions that are both economical and environmentally friendly. Innovation and development form the basis for our ambition to contribute to the green transition in the construction industry, and with an innovative and environmentally-oriented focus, we help set new standards.

Clean drinking water

also in the future

Globally, water scarcity is a growing problem that is already affecting large parts of the world’s population. It is important that we take responsibility and protect Earth’s natural resources. We want to contribute to securing the drinking water for future generations. Green Box has therefore developed an innovative, water-saving system for the construction industry.

Green Flow is a patented system that reuses water in major multi-storey construction and renovation projects, and thus utilises our groundwater more efficiently.

By reusing shower water for toilet flushing, Green Flow can reduce the water consumption by up to 27% annually in an average household with four people.

“Regardless of whether it concerns building materials or natural resources, we need to protect them and think in terms of smarter solutions. The bathrooms of the future must therefore also protect the drinking water of the future.”

We simply use the water one more time

Green Flow is a water-saving unit that reuses shower water for toilet flushing. In this way, the water consumption from operations in your future building can be reduced by up to 27% on average.

The water from the shower is automatically collected and stored in a reserve tank until it is flushed out in the toilet. The system has an incredibly low power consumption, as it runs on only 24 volts.

There is no risk of bacteria formation, as the water undergoes two treatment sequences. First, a rough filtration, where, for example, hair is filtered out. Next, treatment that removes any bacterial growth. No toxic chemicals are used for this treatment process.

3 good reasons for choosing Green Flow

With Green Flow in your next construction project, you help the end user:

  • reduce superfluous consumption
  • avoid expensive water bills
  • reduce the environmental impact of our natural water cycle

Easy maintenance and operation

We attach great importance to ensuring that you end up with a successful construction project when you use us as a partner. Therefore, in the development of Green Flow, we focus on ensuring that system maintenance is as simple as possible.

Green Flow has a long service life. The system has been developed to have minimal need for service and maintenance, as it is self-cleaning and primarily maintains itself. This means that there are no filters that need to be changed.

All components in Green Flow have been thoroughly tested and selected based on criteria such as long durability as well as safety and stability in the supply of materials from recognised suppliers. This ensures high quality and easy access to components in connection with service.

On delivery of Green Box bathrooms with a Green Flow system, a maintenance guide is automatically included, which contains all relevant information for the entrepreneur.

Water saving must be easy

Water saving must be easy both when executing a building project and for the future occupants. Making the complex simple has therefore been our focus in the development of Green Flow – in terms of function, structure, production and maintenance.

The Green Flow system has been developed as an easy add-on option that can easily be installed in our prefabricated bathrooms. Together with other technical installations in the bathrooms, Green Flow can be installed in a closed system shaft with access from the front and back, depending on how the shower cabins are installed in your construction project.

We know that system shafts can often be a complex matter in the engineering of a building project. They should preferably not take up too much space, but, at the same time, they are to contain as many technical installations as possible.

This has been an important aspect in the development of Green Flow. Over the years, we have helped many customers with the design of system shafts and we can also help you – allowing for water savings.
